Rudy Giuliani in 'Borat Subsequent Moviefilm'

I watched this hilarious film on Amazon Prime. I am (mostly) convinced that Rudy Giuliani was fully aware that he was in a Borat movie. There is no other possible way to explain the chipmunk-like bad acting, not to mention the idiotic failure to recognize the set-up.

So why would Giuliani do this? Has the Democratic Party offered him a bigger bribe to jump ship from Trump? Or does anybody here think Giuliani was honestly trying to seduce this young "reporter" in the blue dress?

Cohen has a long and bipartisan history of successfully trolling politicians. Here's a list with video links including Bernie Sanders and Ralph Nader. It's enough to make me doubt my thesis above, that savvy experienced public figures ought to be able to recognize when they're being tricked.
