We're now trying Akismet anti-spam, and automatic user registration is re-enabled. Under the new regime, new users should have no obstacles to registration, but if the system does block you for some reason: as before, please contact me at jerry@postflaviana.org.

So now it's also conceivable that Akismet could block legitimate posts as spam. If this happens to you, please do let me know.
