At about 7:45 into the segment it is mentioned that Scaramucci was a "political suicide bomber" meant to take out Spicer and Priebus, the main connections to the Republican establishment. Then, as Mr. Scary said on the way out and parroting Spicer, he left Agent King Kelly with a "clean slate", i.e. no Republicans to get in the way.

It is then suggested that Trump will go his own way, separate from the Republicans and Democrats. I have heard discussion of a new party elsewhere. In this case, I wonder if he'll push for Single Payer ... if only to portray that he really is a Populist after all.

But Trump's advisers, as well as Afghan President Ashraf Ghani, appear to have sold him on mining, the New York Times said.

Some of Trump's aides met with Michael N. Silver, the CEO of a chemical company called American Elements, about how to mine the minerals, the New York Times said.

Stephen A. Feinberg, the CEO of Cerberus Capital Management, an investment conglomerate that owns DynCorp, a large defense contractor that could help guard the mines, is also keen on the idea, the New York Times said.

Feinberg, who donated more than $1 million to the controversial Trump Super PAC Rebuilding America Again, has also been informally advising the president. He even developed plans with Blackwater Founder Erik Prince to flood Afghanistan with private contractors, but they were declined by Defense Secretary James Mattis.

More than 2,200 US troops have died and more than 20,000 more have been wounded since the war began in 2001. There are currently more than 10,000 US troops there, where the US is spending roughly $3.1 billion a month.

Some of the valuable minerals involved are rare-earth minerals that the USA doesn't have, and must now depend on China for. But, if we started a thorium energy program, in the mining of plentiful thorium, we would also get lots of rare-earth minerals. The Chinese are starting a thorium energy program BTW. Thorium reactors burn almost all their radioactive thorium to harmless ash.

The article in the first post there discusses that Bannon is pushing for this to happen, so here we can see the contours of Bannon's 'better' Capitalism. Its just the same old thing to be sold to the suckers. While Trump is dumping low cost red meat on the media and the divided polity, these guys are accomplishing Great Things.

And so, now, Trump is bitching about his incompetent generals (they are by definition, because they work for the government). Gee, do we see where this is going? Outsourcing and the Gig Economy.

In an earlier post on this thread, I pondered whether divvying up Afghanistan was a topic of Prince's back channel Russia comms in the Seychelles. I wonder if this topic was part of the 'adoption' conversation of TrumPutin's as well?

The legal vise is closing around Trump's neck and it looks to me that his only way out is some form of Reichstag Fire as I've mentioned before on this thread. Trump's good friend, Alex Jones, is openly calling for a REAL civil war.

Ironically, Trump's strong-man mannerisms are belied by his wimpering, yet arrogant behavior to these foreign leaders.

Just when I'd given up all expectations that any real evidence would emerge in the Seth Rich case, some anonymous source has leaked a recorded phone conversation between Seymour Hersh and Ed Bukowski. In the recording, Hersh claims that Seth Rich was the source of the leaked DNC emails. (FWIW, Hersh also says Rich was killed in a random bungled burglary, nothing professional-looking about it at all.)

Justin Raimondo feels that Hersh's statements are highly credible:

Now another blow has been delivered to the “Putin did it” conspiracy theory, one that may indeed prove fatal.

Hersh contends that, upon Rich’s death, the District of Colombia police went into his apartment – with a warrant — and examined his computer, but they couldn’t get into it. So they called in the DC cyber unit, which didn’t do much better, and so they called in the FBI’s Washington field office, the cyber unit, and they got in. “What I know came off an FBI report,” says Hersh. “Don’t ask me how. You can figure it out.” Well, yes, we can indeed. He goes on to say:

“And so what the report says is that sometime in late spring, we’re talking June you know summers in June 21st, late spring would be after, I presume, I don’t know, I’d just say late spring, early summer and he makes contact with WikiLeaks. That’s in his computer and he makes contact.”​

Hersh notes that the last DNC/Podesta emails posted by WikiLeaks are from late May 2016, or “early summer,” a timeline that fits in with the sequence of events: his contact with WikiLeaks followed by his death in what appears to be a random shooting. Hersh continues:

“So, they found what he’d done. He had submitted a series of documents, of emails. Some juicy emails from the DNC, and you know, by the way all this shit about the DNC, um, you know, whether it was hacked or wasn’t hacked, whatever happened, the democrats themselves wrote this shit, you know what I mean? All I know is that he [Seth] offered a sample, an extensive sample, you know I’m sure dozens of emails and said ‘I want money.’”​

This note of realism – “I want money” – for the first time provides us with something that has previously been missing from the arguments of those who have claimed that the “hacks” were an inside job, and not a case of Russian cyber-warfare: motive. After all, why would Rich, supposedly a loyal employee of the DNC and a committed Democrat, hand over embarrassing emails that would hurt Hillary Clinton’s campaign? Well, now here we have it. If true, this not only explains why Rich would do such a thing, but also why the Rich family is furiously denying that their son was in any way connected with the DNC/Podesta email revelations.

Hersh goes on to detail what is in the FBI report:

“Then later WikiLeaks did get the password, he had a Dropbox, a protected Dropbox, which isn’t hard to do, I mean you don’t have to be a wizard IT, you know, he was certainly not a dumb kid. They got access to the Dropbox.”​

And so, according to Hersh, WikiLeaks must have reached a deal with Rich, and the rest is history.

Hersh’s record speaks for itself: from exposing the My Lai massacre to ripping the lid off the false flag Syrian “chemical attack,” he’s made a career out of unmasking the lies and machinations of the War Party. I’ll take his word over the word of some anonymous spook leaking to the Washington Postany day of the week. And perhaps this is the time to point out that there’s just as much evidence for what Hersh is telling us as there is for the tall tales of “collusion” with Moscow that have been retailed by the “mainstream” media for a solid year.
The “Russia-gate” conspiracy theory never had any real evidence to support it aside from the arbitrary assertions of three US intelligence agencies: the “proof” they submitted to the public was laughable, as Jeffrey Carr and other cyber-warfare experts have pointed out. Yet we don’t have the actual evidence to support Hersh’s contentions, although if he’s right there is indeed a paper trail: the warrant, the FBI and NSA reports, and probably more.​

Yes, you're right about this, albeit I'm getting the sense that almost 3 decades of money laundering will soon take center stage. This seems to be the focus of Mueller's hiring of legal specialists lately.

It seems ironic that we have to trust that the FBI is telling the truth, when these are the guys that ran such as Cointelpro. They probably used to spy on Justin at some point. Maybe they were too busy keeping tabs on Alex Jones war talk? And they're too confused trying to figure out who the patriots are, versus the rebels.

Does Justin seriously believe that a Russian lawyer, who works for an oligarch intimately close to Putin, would travel all the way to NYC for a short meeting about adoptions? And that she would really use a ruse to gain Trump interest by claiming she had dirt on Hillary. Remember, Don Jr. released the emails saying all this. Oh, it must be all innocent, because ... otherwise he would not have released them.

Remember, a professional assassin is more likelier to fake a seemingly random shooting than a street thug can fake a professional looking hit. It still could have been a hit. So Justin is going off of Hersch's trust in the FBI report.

And the FBI used to work under Comey and Mueller? Comey spills the beans on more Hillary emails just before the election, and decides not to say to the anything about contemporaneous investigations involving Trump.

Also, this is saying that Rich must have gotten his money, so I wonder if any showed up in his bank accounts? Or its in some crypto-purse? Or its all BS?

If I am correct that Trump has been placed (via such as the lame Hillary campaign and the oddly large RNC primary field) on his perch for a reason, as part of our Grand Kabuki Theater, then there is an expected or desired outcome (A), and maybe a contingency plan (B). With the fevered vitriol obviously being whipped up by the usual mockingbird suspects, including Trump himself, there has to be a desired end, and the tension is primed to snap.

As I have posted on this thread before, there was at least the glimmer of presidential ambitions back with his meetup with Nixon. And then there was the supposed 'last straw' when Obama mocked him, it all seemed too pat to me.

I have been remiss in looking into the supposedly definitive book about Trump, The Making of Donald Trump, by David Cay Johnston. The below is an excerpt from the Intro:

Salerno and Castellano and other mob families controlled both the concrete business and the unions involved in delivering and pouring it. The risks this created became clear from testimony later by Irving Fischer, the general contractor who built Trump Tower. Fischer said concrete union “goons” once stormed his offices, holding a knife to throat of his switchboard operator to drive home the seriousness of their demands, which included no-show jobs during construction of Trump Tower.

But with Cohn as his lawyer, Trump apparently had no reason to personally fear Salerno or Castellano—at least, not once he agreed to pay inflated concrete prices. What Trump appeared to receive in return was union peace. That meant the project would never face costly construction or delivery delays.

The indictment on which Salerno was convicted in 1988 and sent to prison, where he died, listed the nearly $8 million contract for concrete at Trump Plaza, an East Side high-rise apartment building, as one of the acts establishing that S &A was part of a racketeering enterprise. (While the concrete business was central to the case, the trial also proved extortion, narcotics, rigged union elections and murders by the Genovese and Gambino crime families in what Michael Chertoff, the chief prosecutor, called “the largest and most vicious criminal business in the history of the United States.'')

FBI agents subpoenaed Trump in 1980 to ask about his dealing with John Cody, a Teamsters official described by law enforcement as a very close associate of the Gambino crime family. The FBI believed that Cody previously had obtained free apartments from other developers. FBI agents suspected that Cody, who controlled the flow of concrete trucks, might get a free Trump Tower apartment. Trump denied it. But a female friend of Cody’s, a woman with no job who attributed her lavish lifestyle to the kindness of friends, bought three Trump Tower apartments right beneath the triplex where Donald lived with his wife Ivana. Cody stayed there on occasion and invested $500,000 in the units. Trump, Barrett reported, helped the woman get a $3 million mortgage without filling out a loan application or showing financials.

In the summer of 1982 Cody, then under indictment, ordered a citywide strike—but the concrete work continued at Trump Tower. After Cody was convicted of racketeering, imprisoned and lost control of the union, Trump sued the woman for $250,000 for alteration work. She countersued for $20 million and in court papers accused Trump of taking kickbacks from contractors, asserting this could “be the basis of a criminal proceeding requiring an attorney general’s investigation” into Trump. Trump then quickly settled, paying the woman a half-million dollars. Trump said at the time and since then that he hardly knew those involved and there was nothing improper his dealings with Cody or the woman. ...

Reorienting the Republican Party, or needing to start a new one? I wonder how many combo Trump/Reagan lovers will be put off by this below?

Just don’t call it Trumpism.

As the financial consequences of Trump's pulling out of the TPP impact his farm state base more and more, it will be interesting to see how many continue their support for him.

Interestingly, by the time to consider NAFTA came up, his then new SecAg, Perdue, showed him a magic voting chart that quickly convinced him to renege on his campaign promise to cancel NAFTA. As such, it seems like some in the national ag community would have been in Trump's face before he decided to pull out of the TPP, given the high stakes involved for them (Perdue had not been appointed by then, I believe). Of course, Trump doesn't seem to have given them a chance to complain, as this withdrawal was suddenly announced to trumpet his new reign.

The TPP agreement was very opaque, and thus the public heard essentially unverifiable claims on both sides, about how either good or bad this would be. Trump and Sanders (and then Hillary) were against it. As the excerpted article below discusses, now the trade vacuum created by Trump is being filled, rapidly, and in many cases will leave us boxed out. Trump, the greatest deal maker ever, was the one who said that he would only do bilateral trade agreements, but he hasn't even gotten started with the task, almost 7 months in.

The really amazing thing is just how relatively silent the farmers are staying on all this, while the barn door has been closed too late.

EAGLE GROVE, Iowa—On a cloud-swept landscape dotted with grain elevators, a meat producer called Prestage Farms is building a 700,000-square-foot processing plant. The gleaming new factory is both the great hope of Wright County, which voted by a 2-1 margin for Donald Trump, and the victim of one of Trump’s first policy moves, his decision to pull out of the Trans-Pacific Partnership.

For much of industrial America, the TPP was a suspect deal, the successor to the North American Free Trade Agreement, which some argue led to a massive offshoring of U.S. jobs to Mexico. But for the already struggling agricultural sector, the sprawling 12-nation TPP, covering 40 percent of the world’s economy, was a lifeline. It was a chance to erase punishing tariffs that restricted the United States—the onetime “breadbasket of the world”—from selling its meats, grains and dairy products to massive importers of foodstuffs such as Japan and Vietnam.

For his part, Trump once promised a slew of “beautiful” deals to replace the TPP, but his administration has yet to lay out a detailed strategy. U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer told lawmakers that an analysis is underway to determine where it makes most sense to pursue negotiations.

In the meantime, Lighthizer, a trade attorney who pressured Japan to voluntarily restrain its steel exports when he was a trade official in the 1980s, said Tokyo should just go ahead and lower their tariffs without expecting anything in return.

“I think in the areas like beef and the others, they ought to be making some unilateral concessions, at least temporary concessions,” he told lawmakers in June. “And I don't quite understand why that doesn't happen.”

Lighthizer said the administration still hopes to strike bilateral trade deals—that is, separate agreements with individual countries—but he conceded that "some of the TPP countries don't want to do bilaterals." The value of the TPP for many countries was that they could justify giving up protective tariffs in exchange for their own access to the markets of a wide pool of countries; many are unwilling to make such concessions for the smaller gains of a bilateral deal.

Barack Obama was heavily criticized for drawing his red line with Syria and then not following through, and so now Trump has issued his red line to North Korea. Considering my discussions on two other threads, note the apocalyptic reference to Obama having paved the way for the Antichrist. The prior text in the excerpt reveals that the evangelical ministers are quite aware and comfortable with Trump not being one of their flock. In their eyes Trump is an evildoer from 'Satan' (who works for 'God' after all, who is the globalist 'puppet master' after all) sent to fulfill the Biblical script, as I have discussed.

If this triggers war in East Asia then one might ask whether this suffices for a Reichstag Fire. Will continuing to press investigations into unsavory dealings with Russian oligarchs simple fade away?

That Jeffress is a megachurch pastor is one thing, but that Billy Graham was a member of the church carries some significant weight.

Texas megachurch pastor Robert Jeffress, one of President Trump’s evangelical advisers who preached the morning of his inauguration, has released a statement saying the president has the moral authority to “take out” North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

“When it comes to how we should deal with evildoers, the Bible, in the book of Romans, is very clear: God has endowed rulers full power to use whatever means necessary — including war — to stop evil,” Jeffress said. “In the case of North Korea, God has given Trump authority to take out Kim Jong Un.”

Jeffress said in a phone interview that he was prompted to make the statement after Trump said that if North Korea’s threats to the United States continue, Pyongyang will be “met with fire and fury like the world has never seen.”

The biblical passage Romans 13 gives the government authority to deal with evildoers, Jeffress said. “That gives the government … the authority to do whatever, whether it’s assassination, capital punishment or evil punishment to quell the actions of evildoers like Kim Jong Un,” he said.

He said that many pacifist Christians will cite Romans 12, which says, “Do not repay evil for evil,” but Jeffress says that the passage is referring to Christians, not to the government.

“A Christian writer asked me, ‘Don’t you want the president to embody the Sermon on the Mount?’ ” he said, referring to Jesus’s sermon. “I said absolutely not.”

Jimmy Kimmel's Trump solution, ... make him King. This is very funny, however, based upon my Futurist End Times analysis, this is also more than a little scary, albeit that Samson didn't become king, he was just one of the setup men.

As if there are not dozens of these compromising deals that Trump has engaged in, here is just one more, involving billions of misappropriated billions from Kazakhstan put to work in the country of Georgia, and which our traitor President is involved in. No problema, because it's all discussed in the MSM, it has to be fake news. And who cares about facts these days, we have a President who cares about Culture, white culture, at least now that he has become a typical bull shitting politician (because before this time he was a multi-culturalist).

The announcement of the Batumi tower was handled with cynical opportunism by both Trump and Saakashvili, but that was not the deal’s biggest problem. The developer that had paid Trump and invited him to Georgia—a holding company known as the Silk Road Group—had been funded by a bank that was enmeshed in a giant money-laundering scandal. And Trump, it seemed, had not asked many questions before taking the money.

Before the collapse of the Soviet Union, in 1991, Batumi had been a popular resort town, but by the early aughts it had fallen into disrepair. Its beachfront hotels housed refugees from the nearby Abkhazia region, which had broken away from Georgia in 1992. Batumi was the capital of the semiautonomous Adjara region, which was itself on the verge of declaring independence. Saakashvili saw the redevelopment of Batumi as critical for maintaining Georgian sovereignty there. Batumi residents promised to turn the city into the Monaco of the Black Sea.

But nobody seemed willing to put money into Batumi. Levan Varshalomidze, the governor of Adjara at the time, told me that Saakashvili and other Georgian officials sought financial backers, but they could not get anyone to invest in a run-down Georgian port.

Then, in 2005, something remarkable happened. Saakashvili and President Nazarbayev, of neighboring Kazakhstan, announced that B.T.A. Bank—the largest bank in Kazakhstan—was giving several hundred million dollars in loans to help develop Georgia. The loans would pay for the construction of hotels in Batumi, the expansion of the Georgian telecommunications industry, and the growth of a Georgian bank. Curiously, all the loans went to subsidiaries of one company: the Silk Road Group, which specialized not in real-estate development but in shipping crude- and refined-oil products, by rail, from Kazakhstan to other countries. Its senior executives had very little experience in telecommunications, banking, or hospitality. The Silk Road Group, which had annual revenues of roughly two hundred million dollars, was planning, in an instant, to venture into several new industries. With the actions in Charlotesville and Trump's failure to name racist terrorism for what it is, the big fascist Trump apple doesn't fall far from the tree. The June 1, 1927 issue of The New York Times recorded of Fred Trump of Jamaica, New York as having been arrested and released as part of a KKK and Fascisti melee with NYC cops as they were trying to attend a ceremony to honor American WWI war dead.

Of course, the KKK were, and are, a bastion of white (cultural, at least) Protestants, while the Fascisti were culturally (whitish) Roman Catholic, as were most of the police. The common thread that underlies all this degenerate crap is Christian cultural terrorism, ironically driven by the Old Testament genocides and race based slavery (the sons of Canaan) of the Jewish narrative. The below panel session of Camerota's with 6 Trump voters is focused around Trump's reversal of what he stated in his campaign, where he was in seeming conformity with Bannon's faux populist creed of getting us out of foreign wars and nation building. Of course, Bannonism leaves open the door of wanting a holy war with Islam. Trump had already laid the predicate for his reversal by stating that Obama had erred in setting arbitrary dates to leave Iraq and Afghanistan.

Bannon, instead appears to be a supporter of Erik Prince's plan to run the show in Afghanistan, where there is over $1 trillion in mineral wealth to be extracted, not to mention all the illicit profits from the opium trade. How long did it take Trump to reverse course after Bannon left, and the latter said that he would be going to war ... for Trump? The trouble for most, including Trump's base, is that they cannot divine the hidden agenda behind the planned incoherence.

Both Bannon and Trump operate on the same principle of the Bible, where Anything can be justified, merely one needs to find the reason for the season for whatever thing you want to do, ... or conquer. Put in the temporal context, one then merely blows a verbal shit storm at the political wall, and you can then always claim that you have supported whatever it is you desire to do in the moment. Now we are no longer talking about Russia, or Charlottesville.

Speaking of Russia, it seems that Russia is now aiding the Taliban, whom the American Christian taxpayers funded to defeat the Godless Soviet Union. Thankfully, the Russians now have the support of the Russian Orthodox Church at their back, and Putin supports the Church.

If the following isn't a signature aspect of fascism I don't know what is. Trump's long time friend, Roger Stone, predicts civil war if Trump faces the Constitutional process of impeachment. The criminal noose is tightening around Agent Orange's neck (see video further below regarding Rinat Akhmetshin, one of the Trump Tower meeting attendees).

It's simply hard for me to imagine that the Machiavellian Hidden Hand (the real Deep State) wasn't fully aware of Agent Orange's true nature, and even complicit in building his aura of Fool's Gold, his mal fides. Stone is telling us that we will have a civil war. Impeachment or not, the political and cultural polarization of recent decades has taken on exponential amplitudes. But, even beyond this, almost everything in our lives is being challenged, as if a figurative earthquake of apocalyptic proportions is taking place.

But, even the very literal ground beneath our feet is being challenged as to what degree it is flat or not. That is, whether it is relatively flat or absolutely flat. This specific issue has cropped up on the forum, and I have just discovered that it seems to be blowing up in the past few months. And, sardonically I find out that some Flat Earthers are concerned that the Jesuits are co-opting their movement. I find this phenomenon emblematic that everything, from our institutions to more trivial matters is grist for the mill.

There are some common threads that run throughout all this Kaos, the Kaos of which, it appears to me, is programmatic in nature, across the broad scale. Its intention is to advance the the world to the next phase of consolidation. Ironically, many Xian fundamentalists are convinced that their Bible is speaking to them as desiring them to be nationalist zealots, forgetting what happened to the prior age's nationalist Zealots. The Bible does speak about nations, albeit under one 'global' authority. To achieve this, an agent of Kaos is required to finalize the creation of the required environment and to precipitate the civil war that Stone is "predicting".

The firing of Bannonist Sebastian Gorka reveals yet another backtracking of Trump on his faux nationalist/populist campaign rhetoric. Trump repeatedly bashed Obama and hence Hillary over their refusal to use the term 'radical Islamic terrorism'. As Tillerson states Americans and their businesses are everywhere, globally, and thus so is our military.

Bannon's solution seems to be that of Erik Prince's Afghanistan proposal creating a private corporation to take care of Global problems and laugh all the way to the bank. The historical model, the British East India Corporation, became exactly such a global initiative, and with Afghanistan opium is one common thread as well.

Trump's current approach to Afghanistan is to return to the open-ended model, and thus doomed to the same result, sans a willingness to use neutron bombs region wide, or similar genocide. After some 'apparent' frustrations, I'm guessing that he will return to the Prince/Bannon solution, which will indeed become the global model.
