... “For the record, I have ZERO investments in Russia,” Trump tweeted in July, one day before he called on the country to “find” a batch of emails deleted from Hillary Clinton’s private server. ...

That is what the Traitor Elect, herr Grop'n Fuhrer Trumputin said above. I think he actually has some branding dealing in the works in Russia through. But even taking him at his usually lying word, he is otherwise contextually correct because most of the money involved is Russian money that is invested in his American and probably other global property interests. So as to launder the dirty funds.

Here is an excerpt from one of the three FT articles linked to from the above alternet article.

...
Mr Khrapunov, who now lives in Switzerland, says he is being targeted for opposing the man he used to serve, President Nursultan Nazarbayev, Kazakhstan’s authoritarian ruler since 1989. His supporters say the family’s fortune comes from business success, not embezzlement.

Among the dozens of companies the Almaty lawyers say the Khrapunov laundering network used were three called Soho 3310, Soho 3311 and Soho 3203. Each was a limited liability company, meaning their ownership could easily be concealed.

The companies were created in April 2013 in New York. A week later, property records show, they paid a total of $3.1m to buy the apartments that corresponded with their names in the Trump Soho, a 46-storey luxury hotel-condominium completed in 2010 in a chic corner of Manhattan.

Bank statements submitted by Almaty’s lawyers indicate that the ultimate beneficiary of the Soho companies was Elvira Kudryashova, Mr Khrapunov’s California-based daughter. According to the Kazakh government, she, with her brother Ilyas, is a key link in the family’s laundering network.

Shortly before the Soho companies bought the apartments, more than $3.1m flowed out of Ms Kudryashova’s Wells Fargo account to the firm of Martin Jajan, a New York lawyer. Mr Jajan proceeded to sign purchase documents for the Trump Soho apartments as buyer’s agent. Other bank records show further links between Ms Kudryashova and her relatives and the Soho shell companies. Mr Jajan did not respond to a request for comment.

On the face of it, Mr Trump was not a beneficiary of the apartment sales. The vendor was another limited liability company, Bayrock/Sapir Organization LLC. It was named after the developers that jointly built Trump Soho: the Sapir Organisation, founded by Tamir Sapir, from Georgia, and Bayrock, founded by Tevfik Arif, a Kazakhstan-born former Soviet official.

According to regulatory filings, however, Bayrock/Sapir Organization LLC had a third co-owner — the man who licensed his personal brand to the project.

The Trump Soho, announced in 2006, was an early example of a building that bore the Trump name but was built by someone else. Mr Trump’s access to finance had been curtailed by bankruptcies. But as the star of The Apprentice, his celebrity stock was rising. Partners such as Sapir and Bayrock were prepared to pay to license his name. ...

Buzzfeed has decided to report about a dossier circulating about blackmail evidence that the Russian government has on the Grop'n Fuhrer. I suspect that this may be a similar situation as when Dan Rather had to fall on his intelligence (Mockingbird) sword regarding the allegations about Dubya having been MIA with the Texas Air National Guard. Meaning that the dossier on Trump is quite likely much ado about nothing.

The function of which will serve to insulate him against real allegations.

...
A dossier making explosive — but unverified — allegations that the Russian government has been “cultivating, supporting and assisting” President-elect Donald Trump for years and gained compromising information about him has been circulating among elected officials, intelligence agents, and journalists for weeks.

The dossier, which is a collection of memos written over a period of months, includes specific, unverified, and potentially unverifiable allegations of contact between Trump aides and Russian operatives, and graphic claims of sexual acts documented by the Russians. BuzzFeed News reporters in the US and Europe have been investigating various alleged facts in the dossier but have not verified or falsified them. CNN reported Tuesday that a two-page synopsis of the report was given to President Obama and Trump. ...

Trump's initial response to the sexual dossier contains a limited hangout that the Russians were involved in hacking:

President-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday angrily denounced the publishing of claims he had been caught in a compromising position in Russia and attacked U.S. intelligence agencies over the leak of the information.

"I think it was disgraceful, disgraceful that the intelligence agencies allowed any information that turned out to be so false and fake out there," Trump told a news conference. He called the dossier that makes salacious claims about him "fake news" and "phony stuff."

"I think it's a disgrace ... That's something that Nazi Germany would have done," the Republican said days ahead of his inauguration.

Trump acknowledged that Russia likely hacked the Democratic National Committee and the emails of other top Democrats during the 2016 presidential election, but defended his goal of better ties with Moscow.

...
The dossier that emerged late on Tuesday was first reported by CNN. BuzzFeed published the full document. ...

Any direct link to the document?
https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/3259984-Trump-Intelligence-Allegations.html

Yesterday, Buzzfeed had the document itself on their link. Now they just have a link to the above. Thx for putting the Mockingbird link up.

I think I've mentioned it before that Dan Rather was named as an intelligence asset in the book Silent Coup about the Nixon and John Dean Watergate business. That Nixon had threatened to expose the Bay of Pigs and everything around it, and was therefore replaced. The mention of Rather then was in regards to his cub reporting role in the JFK assassination.

aha, well that's a Rather new insight.

Here are the documents for everyone's amusement.

Buzzfeed maintains that publishing them was the right thing to do, even if fake. Next they will discover the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. :D

But yes, as you mentioned, it can definitively serve to insulate him against real allegations.

The Brits, at least, are hilariously calling this Watersportsgate. This because the Grop'n Fuhrer is alleged to have had Russian prostitutes pee on the bed that Obama and Michele slept on in Moscow. Who makes this shit up?

...
It is understood the allegations were pulled together the ex-spook who now heads a private company gathering intelligence but was reportedly used to be stationed in Russia in the 1990s.

The document claimed the Russians had bugged the president in order to blackmail him .

A diplomatic service list shows that the ex-spy was posted to the U.K.’s Moscow embassy in 1990 with the title of ‘Second Secretary’, serving under ambassador Sir Rodric Braithwaite.

However, it is not known how long he was posted at the embassy for.

Mr Steele is listed as a director of a private security and investigations firm in London, called Orbis Business Intelligence Ltd, on Linkedin.

The sock puppet show plot thickens. The following excerpted NYT article is written by a senior fellow of the CFR no less, and points out the glaring hole in Trump's posturing. It is intriguingly titled: Donald Trump: a Modern Manchurian Candidate?

...
At the same time that Mr. Trump continues to exhibit paranoia about American intelligence agencies, he displays a trust verging on gullibility in the mendacious and murderous government of President Vladimir V. Putin. “Russia just said,” he tweeted, “unverified report paid for by political opponents is ‘A COMPLETE AND TOTAL FABRICATION, UTTER NONSENSE.’ Very unfair!”

Well, yes, of course Russia said that. But why should anyone believe what Mr. Putin says? The fact that Mr. Trump seems to give greater credence to the Kremlin than to United States intelligence agencies is precisely what has set off so much speculation about his real motives in cozying up to Mr. Putin.

There is only one way to get to the bottom of this tawdry affair: Appoint a bipartisan, 9/11-style commission to investigate all of the allegations and issue a public report. The former C.I.A. directors Leon E. Panetta and Michael V. Hayden, among other possible choices, would provide instant credibility if they were appointed to lead such a panel.

If Mr. Trump is genuinely innocent of any untoward connections with the Kremlin, wouldn’t he want a full investigation to clear his name? That he so adamantly opposes any such inquiry speaks volumes.

Yet the speculation, which was gaining currency even before the publishing of the dossier by BuzzFeed, isn’t going away. The reason is obvious: Mr. Trump appears to be infatuated with the autocrat in the Kremlin. As the Russian dissident and chess champion Garry Kasparov noted: “Trump has criticized: Republicans, Democrats, the pope, U.S. elections, C.I.A., F.B.I., NATO, Meryl Streep. Trump hasn’t criticized: Vladimir Putin.” ...

"Amid the fire hose of lunacy that is the Trump transition, however, Pompeo’s extremism has been overlooked."

The same goes for most other members of Trump's administration, radical apocalyptic religious ideologues, itching for a holy war against both Islam writ large and Western secularism. Contrast this Bible thumping to the picture of Trump and his current wife further below. The problem for the Christian Nationalists is that Christianity is not nationalistic, but Globalistic. And thus given all the parallels with the previous Fuhrer, except for the short term, it does not bode well for America generally, but especially for the nationalist Zealots.

As with the little corporal, things will look good in the first years, as Trump will repatriate 2 trillion dollars from offshore, via lower corporate tax rates. But he has already outlined adding over 8 trillion to the national debt over the next ten years. War is always a boon to a sickly economy, and this one will be a holy crusade.

The writer of the article below wrote a frightening book about these apocalyptic Christians called:
Kingdom Coming: The Rise of Christian Nationalism

...
In June 2015, Rep. Mike Pompeo, a Kansas congressman, headlined a “God and Country Rally” at Wichita’s Summit Church. “To worship our lord and celebrate our nation at the same place is not only our right, it is our duty,” he began. Pompeo’s speech was a mishmash of domestic culture war callouts and dark warnings about the danger of radical Islam. He cited an inflammatory prayer that a pastor named the Rev. Joe Wright once delivered before the Kansas State Legislature: “America had worshipped other Gods and called it multiculturalism. We’d endorsed perversion and called it an alternative lifestyle.” He lamented government efforts to “rip faith from our schools” and then segued immediately into a discussion of the jihadi threat: “This evil is all around us.” Pompeo concluded by describing politics as “a never-ending struggle … until the rapture.

Donald Trump has appointed Pompeo to head the CIA; his confirmation hearings begin on Thursday
[1/12/17 - rs]. If a normal Republican president had nominated a figure like this to head the country’s major foreign intelligence agency, there likely would have been a lot of attention paid to his apocalyptic religiosity and Manichaean worldview. Amid the fire hose of lunacy that is the Trump transition, however, Pompeo’s extremism has been overlooked. It’s worth pausing to appreciate the fact that America’s CIA will shortly be run by a man who appears to view American foreign policy as a vehicle for holy war.

Like Trump, Pompeo has been a fierce critic of efforts to rein in the CIA’s torture program and a champion of keeping Guantanamo Bay open. While in Congress, he was a frequent guest on the radio show of famously paranoid Frank Gaffney, a man disinvited from the right-wing Conservative Political Action Conference after claiming that the Muslim Brotherhood had infiltrated its parent organization, the American Conservative Union. ...

OMG!!! Our new President is a Policy Bull at the Goat Rodeo .... held in his own gilded china shop.

Well, if one wanted Chaos, for whatever good or bad reason, we've got it now. Not just in the economic sector, but globally. At least we can be sure that his handlers have a plan.

...
"Trump is like a policy bull who seems to bring his own china shop with him to destroy it with every interview," Krueger wrote in a research note.

Lobbyists said the Trump transition team's lack of interest in their input was clear in the last two weeks as it summoned trade groups to daily "listening sessions" at the American Enterprise Institute think tank. The agriculture, financial, transportation and tech industries are among the sectors that got a one-hour session, according to participants.

"GOAT RODEO"

In the sessions, Wall Street lobbyists were encouraged to talk fast: a giant television screen overhead counted down two minutes of allotted time.

"It was a goat rodeo. We all got a couple minutes to speak. What can you really say in that time?" said another financial services lobbyist. "They wanted to check the box - 'We’re listening to Wall Street'. But who even knows where these transition people will be in a few days?"

Lobbyists also have been alarmed that the transition team has not included them in preparations for confirmation hearings for many nominated Cabinet officials, including potential Treasury secretary Steven Mnuchin.

"If you want someone to explain how Elizabeth Warren can hammer you 12 different ways, ask a lobbyist," said the financial services lobbyist, referring to the Massachusetts senator who is a frequent critic of Wall Street.

Even Trump's website sowed confusion about his intentions. A promise to dismantle the Dodd-Frank regulatory reforms was removed at the end of last year and has not been replaced. A Trump spokesperson blamed a redesign, but bank lobbyists are not so sure - other content made it through the redesign. ...

The moving of the American embassy can only be a further step towards precipitating a conflict with the Palestinians and other Arabs. When one has a administration full of radical Catholics itching for a holy war, and Trump's rhetoric to match, this doesn't seem to bode well, except for those interesting in advancing an apocalyptic, Futurist End Times scenario. To complete such, the (second) Third Temple must be built so that Christ's holy warriors can tear it down to the ground, just as Christ (Titus Flavius) did the first time in 70 CE.

The supposed writer of Psalms 72 was King David, the son of Jesse. It was the Root of Jesse, that was grafted onto in Romans 11, as discussed in Caesar's Messiah. Jesus was, of course, reputed to be of the linage of David and Solomon, the of the Root of Jesse. As the Second Coming then, Titus was the graft, that destroyed the temple within the generation (40 years) of the disciples, just as Jesus was made to predict in Matthew 24.

More comments below and the first half of Psalms 72:

Right-wing Israeli lawmakers in town for Donald Trump’s inauguration addressed prominent American evangelicals gathered at Greater New Hope Baptist Church in downtown Washington, D.C. on Thursday, lecturing them on the importance of moving the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem and offering hope that President-elect Donald Trump would fulfill his promise to do so.

Speaking to a gathering that included a who’s who of Christian right leaders — including Family Research Council’s Tony Perkins, Faith & Freedom Coalition founder Ralph Reed, and Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson — Israeli Knesset member Yehuda Glick, who belongs to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud Party, spoke about Trump’s election in messianic terms.

He began his remarks by approvingly quoting Psalm 72, which speaks of welcoming a new king. “It is a prayer for King Solomon, and it is the prayer for all kings and especially a prayer for the king of the United States.” ...

https://theintercept.com/2017/01/19/israeli-lawmakers-celebrate-the-new-king-of-the-united-states-with-evangelicals/

The Trumpian parallels to King Solomon are rather impressive, and sardonically do NOT violate my thread theme regarding the Hitler comparisons. For being such a celebrated king of the 'Hebrews', Solomon was quite Freaky as is President Freak. He was quite garish in his wealth, as with Trump, and quite the ladies man, though we are not told if Solomon was a groper of women's privy parts. Why would he need to since he had a thousand or more women at his disposal?

And like America with Trump, most of Israel hated Solomon and his father. This because they increased the size of government, and press ganged the Hebrews into building (infrastructure) projects like the Temple, to the material benefit of the Judeans and Benjamites (and I'm guessing the Ephraimites as well).

Had not that other freak, Adolf Hitler, done his job, there would be no modern Israel to discuss. No Hitler > no Israel > no Zionism > no Third Temple > no Futurist End Times (brought to us by the kindly Jesu, see Rev 14). The Donald went to the Jesu's Fordham University BTW. His administration is full of Jesu alums ... and Goldman Sachs douches. I wonder what happened to the Salomon Brothers?

1{A Psalm for Solomon.} Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king's son.
2He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.
3The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness.
4He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.
5They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.
6He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.
7In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth.
8He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth. ...

Trump made his first official visit as president and it was to the CIA to tell them how much he loves and respects them. He gave one of his trademark rambling stream of consciousness speeches and it seemed strangely well received by an audience full of supposed professional spies. He ended by telling them that he'd need a bigger room next time and "maybe it'd be built by people who know how to build and we won't have all these columns, you understand that?" (I don't, I'm not a spy but I can only assume he's alluding to freemasons and the Romanesque "architecture" of America.) The whole thing just seemed strange but maybe that's just how things are going to be now in the age of Trump: strange.

That truly was surreal. Thx.

The next clip that played was the new press secretary trying to claim that there were more people there than any other inauguration. But, obviously, the press is lying about that. I thought a WH administration has their own photographer. And maybe none of the Trump supporters own cameras?

It's going to be a wild ride.

Day two only gets worse. On theme with this thread, the title of the excerpted article invokes The Big Lie, but how will we know when we've seen the Big Lie when every other sentence that comes from Trump and his people are bald lies. They lie about what they said on video only a few days before. Kellyanne Conway has taken to proudly calling them "alternative facts".

...
Afterward, a spokesman for Obama’s just-departed CIA director John Brennan issued a furious blast at the president: "Former CIA Director Brennan is deeply saddened and angered at Donald Trump's despicable display of self-aggrandizement in front of CIA's Memorial Wall of Agency heroes. Brennan says that Trump should be ashamed of himself."

Fournier, for his part, said Spicer’s defilement of the truth, and that of his boss, has broken new ground in modern presidential communications.

“We are in uncharted territory,” said Fournier, who covered presidents from Bill Clinton to Barack Obama. “I was there and saw a president lie about his affairs. I saw another president wage war over a patently false pretense. I saw another president stretch the truth about his health care policy. And now, on the first full day of his presidency, Donald Trump and Sean Spicer are going to war about the size of a crowd? Stop it. This is about as odd as it gets.
