I agree with Velikovsky. We are ignorant of the traumas we suffered (Worlds in Collision). The occult societies and symbolisms compound this ignorance in that they obscure and prey on the traumas and blocked memories caused by the traumas. People who haven't read Velikovsky and don't know and understand our history are simply flying blind.

Mika, have you also read any of Emmet Sweeney? Starting from Velikovsky's revised chronological timeline, he also raises some questions about the Old Testament as a chronological source, and winds up with a somewhat more self-consistent re-alignment of events across ancient cultures. Also, in the astronomical realm, do you follow the "Electric Universe" folks? Again, I feel that they've started with Velikovsky's work and brought it into better harmony with modern science in general.

No, I do not know Emmet Sweeney. I did for a while follow David Talbot, but he doesn't have the intellectual rigor and encompassing knowledge of Velikovsky. As a result, his presentations are wrong and under constant revision. I'm very satisfied with Velikovsky being the final word, and very suspicious of revisions and revisionists.

The Electric Universe movement does very good work, but it is a small subset of what Velikovsky talks about. And they still haven't examined Velikovsky's idea of electron orbital energy relations being applicable on a solar system/planetary scale :)
