Change in Atlantic Ocean pH: ~.0021 per year

This data is for the Atlantic Ocean, but the authors state that the Atlantic is more highly impacted by CO2 than the Pacific. So any change in the Pacific would be, presumably, similar or less.

My reaction: this seems like a significant amount of change, but hard to believe that this would be the cause of massive ocean die-offs such as we are seeing in the Pacific?
